About Our Team Join our high-performing, growing construction and property team with a record 1.8M in fees, multiple members billing over $400k last year, and multiple promotions. Our team is comprised of top-producing Hays Recruitment professionals with proven success within the Florida construction staffing industry. Our team fosters an environment of hands-on support, team collaboration, and inclusive competition to challenge one another to be their best. We enjoy working together in a high-pace, relentless, sales driven environment while also taking part in various social events like team lunches, and team bonding activities (Putt putt, bowling, etc.) to celebrate team and individual success.
Role Purpose:
Generate new business and grow a book of business by building lasting relationships with both client companies and skilled professionals, managing the full search-to-placement process while embodying Hays' values and performance standards.
Your new role:
Develop new business relationships and maintain your network of client companies through business development calls, client visits, networking and entertainment events. Apply a relationship-based sales approach to build and maintain a successful book of business. Source, recruit, interview, evaluate and place highly skilled professionals to match client requirements for contract, contract to hire or permanent opportunities. Build a network of active and passive professionals through creative sourcing, referrals and networking events. Foster long-term relationships with candidates and candidates through ongoing contact. Follow up with pipeline and placed candidates to grow your professional network within your market. Participate in ongoing professional development opportunities with Learning & Development. Actively showcase and live HAYS values/vision/standards and expectations for high performance. What we're looking for: Drives superior net fee performance and competitive account share across all active clients Relentlessly pursues new revenue, business opportunities, and target clients/leads across the construction industry Role models operational rigor and BD activity standards consistently — calls, in-person meetings, and all communication channels (including Engage and social media) to promote their desk and the Hays brand Takes the broader strategic aim and translates it into clear goals and outcomes Demonstrates a service delivery mentality, ensuring key activity standards and desk fundamentals are in place, and guides others toward incremental improvement Actively manages and expands existing client relationships across subsidiaries, divisions, and business units, spanning relevant Hays disciplines Stays ahead of market trends, competitive landscape, and industry best practices; shares knowledge appropriately and targets high-potential geographies and sectors Inspires confidence, trust, and commitment in colleagues, clients, and candidates through energy, passion, and a drive toward excellence Builds high-performing, supportive teams where individuals hold each other accountable, give feedback, and commit to shared goals Visibly supports business-wide operational and training initiatives that reinforce a learning culture, while continually building their own knowledge through education, professional publications, and networks Demonstrates Hays' values and Leadership DNA — always doing the right thing What you will get: We offer base compensation of 77,625 and uncapped commission Hybrid/flexible schedule.
