Director, Business Transformation & Value Creation New York City (Hybrid) A leading private equity firm focused on the intersection of technology and financial services is seeking a Director of Business Transformation & Value Creation to join its operating team in New York. This is a high-impact role focused on driving AI-led enterprise transformation initiatives across a portfolio of Financial Services and FinTech companies. About the Role As a Director, you will operate across the full investment lifecycle, partnering closely with investment teams and portfolio company leadership. You will help shape and execute value creation strategies, translating advanced AI and data capabilities into tangible business outcomes. This position is well-suited for someone with strong technical depth in AI/data who also brings a commercial mindset and a bias toward execution. Key Responsibilities Partner with investment teams pre- and post-deal, including involvement in due diligence and value creation strategy Own and lead execution of value creation plans across portfolio companies Translate complex AI and data capabilities into actionable business initiatives that drive measurable impact Work closely with internal technical teams to design and deliver transformation programs Collaborate directly with portfolio company leadership teams as a hands-on partner Drive alignment across stakeholders and effectively communicate the value of transformation initiatives Support scaling of initiatives across the portfolio to maximize impact Candidate Profile Approximately 8-10 years of experience in consulting, transformation, or operating roles Background in top-tier consulting environments (e.g., Accenture, Deloitte, or similar), ideally at the Principal or Engagement Manager level Experience within Financial Services or FinTech, with exposure to capital markets preferred Strong understanding of AI, data, and technology-enabled transformation Demonstrated ability to execute and deliver outcomes, beyond pure advisory work Commercially minded with strong stakeholder management skills Comfortable working in a fast-paced, collaborative, and high-growth environment Additional Details Hybrid working model based in New York City Opportunity to work closely with both investment professionals and portfolio company executives Exposure to complex, high-impact transformation initiatives within a focused investment platform
