system proficiency Full Job Description Director of Business Development (HOA) About Assembly Assembly is an AI-enabled HOA management company on a mission to fix HOAs. We pair experienced operators with purpose-built software to streamline operations, improve transparency, and help boards make smarter decisions. The Role We are hiring a Director of Business Development to drive new business and bring our full-service HOA management solution to communities across the Inland Empire. This is a high-ownership, market-facing role for someone who understands how boards operate, how management contracts work, and where traditional management companies fall short. You will be the face of Assembly to prospective communities and a key driver of our regional growth. What You Will Do Own the full business development cycle, from sourcing new opportunities to closing signed management agreements Build and maintain trusted relationships with board members and community stakeholders Lead board presentations and represent Assembly at HOA meetings when needed Advise and guide boards through the process of transitioning management companies Maintain an accurate, well-managed pipeline in CRM Partner closely with operations to ensure a seamless onboarding and handoff Requirements Minimum 2 years of experience as an HOA Manager Experience selling to or advising HOAs preferred Benefits 401(k) Health insurance Paid time off Vision insurance License/Certification At least one of the following preferred:

$90,000.00 - $130,000.00 per year
