Director of Sales - Walmart and Sams Club Bentonville, AR Must-Haves 7-10+ years of progressive retail sales experience within the U.S. grocery industry 5+ years managing Walmart and/or Sam's Club accounts directly Proven success growing revenue and profitability with large national retail accounts Strong experience with both branded and private label portfolios Deep understanding of Retail Link, Circana/IRI, POS analytics, forecasting, and category management Experience leading broker relationships and driving accountability Strong P&L management and strategic planning expertise Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or related field required; MBA preferred Must be willing to relocate to Northwest Arkansas Director of Sales - Walmart and Sams Club Our client is seeking a strategic, high-impact sales leader to drive growth and profitability across Walmart and Sam's Club. Reporting to the Sr. Director - Alternate Channel Sales, this role will lead customer strategy, joint business planning, revenue growth initiatives, and execution across branded and private label product portfolios. This is a highly visible leadership opportunity for someone with strong analytical capabilities, executive presence, and a successful track record managing major retail partnerships within the grocery industry. Key Responsibilities Lead annual and long-range strategic planning for Walmart and Sam's Club accounts Develop and execute growth strategies that deliver revenue, volume, and margin objectives Build and maintain senior-level relationships with Walmart and Sam's Club merchants, category leaders, and cross-functional stakeholders Drive distribution, merchandising, shelving, and promotional strategies using Retail Link, Circana/IRI, and POS analytics Lead Walmart and Sam's Club eCommerce growth initiatives to expand digital sales performance Manage customer P&L performance, forecasting, trade spend, and profitability initiatives Oversee broker partners and ensure flawless execution against business objectives and KPIs Partner cross-functionally with Marketing, Category Management, R&D, Finance, Supply Chain, Operations, and Procurement teams Identify new business opportunities through innovation, category expansion, and increased product distribution Analyze customer and market trends to provide actionable recommendations that support growth and profitability Support innovation pipeline development and successful product launches Deliver monthly business updates, forecasts, and performance insights to leadership Continuously improve commercial processes, operational efficiencies, and ROI initiatives Preferred Background Experience within dry grocery, frozen, or in-store bakery categories preferred Strong understanding of both branded and private label business environments Proven leadership experience managing teams, brokers, and cross-functional initiatives Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills Strong business acumen with the ability to influence executive stakeholders Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office and retail analytics tools Additional Information Relocation to Northwest Arkansas is required Travel approximately 30% throughout the United States Office or remote home office environment Ability to sit for extended periods and occasionally lift up to 30 pounds This is an outstanding opportunity to join a growing organization and lead one of its most important national retail partnerships while driving strategic growth across multiple product categories.
