We have grown mostly through direct to consumer sales and our own retail stores. We are now building wholesale as a major growth channel through high quality boutiques, resort stores, regional retailers, specialty stores, and larger strategic accounts. We are hiring a Director of Wholesale Partnerships to grow accounts, open new doors, build buyer relationships, and create wholesale revenue through direct outside sales. About the role This is an outside sales and account growth role. The Director of Wholesale Partnerships will personally identify, pursue, open, and grow wholesale accounts for Lesley Evers. This person will be responsible for building a strong book of business with premium boutiques, resort retailers, specialty stores, regional retailers, and larger strategic accounts. This is not a passive account management role. This is not a coordinator role. This is not a role for someone who only attends trade shows. We are looking for someone who can create revenue directly by getting in front of buyers, presenting the line, closing opening orders, growing reorders, and building long term wholesale relationships. What you will do Open new wholesale accounts with strong brand fit Grow existing wholesale accounts through reorders and relationship building Build a targeted prospect list of high quality boutiques, resort stores, specialty retailers, and regional accounts Contact buyers through phone, email, introductions, market visits, and in person meetings Present the Lesley Evers line to buyers and owners Close opening orders Build account plans for top wholesale partners Drive reorder revenue from strong accounts Identify larger accounts with meaningful growth potential Maintain clear records in CRM, including contacts, notes, next steps, pipeline value, order status, and reorder timing Share buyer feedback on product, pricing, merchandising, fit, and sell through Identify wholesale accounts that could also support trunk shows, events, and local customer growth Protect the brand by choosing accounts that match our customer and premium positioning Year 1 goals $750,000 to $1,500,000 in confirmed wholesale bookings $500,000 to $1,000,000 in shipped wholesale revenue 25 to 50 high quality new wholesale accounts 10 to 20 accounts generating meaningful reorders 3 to 6 larger regional or strategic accounts in serious development A repeatable outside sales process for opening and growing accounts Ideal experience 5 to 10 plus years in women's apparel wholesale, boutique sales, resort retail, specialty retail, occasion dressing, or lifestyle retail Proven experience opening new wholesale accounts Proven experience growing accounts after the first order Existing buyer relationships in premium boutiques, resort stores, specialty retailers, or regional accounts Experience selling premium products where taste, presentation, and account quality matter Experience with dresses, women's apparel, occasion dressing, resort, lifestyle, or print driven product is strongly preferred Comfortable traveling for account visits, buyer meetings, markets, and in person selling Required skills Outside sales New account development Account growth Buyer outreach Relationship based selling Line presentation Closing orders Reorder growth Account qualification Sales pipeline management CRM discipline Clear written follow up Phone and in person selling Sales forecasting Premium brand presentation Required traits Strong closer High ownership Strong follow through Strong taste and retail judgment Comfortable prospecting and asking for the order Persistent without being pushy Warm, polished, and commercially serious Organized and accountable Comfortable working independently Motivated by revenue growth Account quality matters We do not want to sell to every store that will buy. The right candidate understands how to choose accounts that strengthen the brand. You should be able to judge whether a store fits the Lesley Evers customer, supports premium pricing, presents product well, and has real reorder potential. Wholesale growth should build the brand, not dilute it. AI and tools Lesley Evers is building a lean revenue team for the AI age. You should be comfortable using CRM, AI, and modern sales tools to research accounts, prepare buyer outreach, personalize follow up, track pipeline, and analyze account opportunities. AI is a tool to help you sell more effectively. It does not replace relationships, taste, judgment, or closing ability. Success will be measured by New wholesale accounts opened Growth of existing wholesale accounts Opening order revenue Reorder revenue Total shipped wholesale revenue Buyer conversations Line presentations Pipeline value Close rate Account quality Strategic accounts developed Quality of buyer feedback shared with the company First 30 days In the first 30 days, you will: Learn the Lesley Evers brand, customer, product line, pricing, best sellers, and wholesale opportunity Review current wholesale accounts and pipeline Define the ideal wholesale account profile Build a list of at least 150 high quality prospects Identify the top 50 accounts to pursue first Begin buyer outreach Hold initial buyer calls or meetings Create a weekly pipeline report First 90 days In the first 90 days, you will: Build a qualified wholesale pipeline Contact at least 100 high quality prospects Hold buyer conversations with at least 30 qualified accounts Present the line to at least 15 to 25 qualified buyers Close first opening orders from strong fit accounts Create account growth plans for the best opportunities Identify accounts likely to reorder Build a repeatable outside sales process Create a 12 month wholesale growth plan Compensation Base salary + Target total compensation is 10% Net Revenues from New Account Creation. Performance pay may include commission or bonuses based on: New account opening orders Shipped wholesale revenue Reorder revenue Account growth Strategic account wins Annual wholesale revenue targets Performance compensation applies to approved accounts that meet Lesley Evers brand standards.
