What You'll Do:
You are the tip of the spear. Your job is to open doors— find new construction contractors, project managers, and site supervisors who need reliable heavy equipment rental, build trust fast, and bring them across the finish line as customers. Once they're in? Our on site team takes the relationship from there, so you can do what you do best: move on to the next opportunity. Build your own client base, and let us help support you.
  • Travel your territory daily, prospecting and visiting active job sites, general contractors, and project owners
  • Identify rental needs and position our equipment solutions to close new accounts
  • Build rapid rapport with decision-makers at all levels — from field supervisors to company owners
  • Maintain a sharp mental map of your pipeline, follow up with precision, and never let a warm lead go cold
  • Collaborate with our internal support team to ensure seamless customer onboarding
  • Track activity and opportunities in CRM (we keep it simple — your job is selling, not paperwork).

Who We're Looking For:
A Hunter Salesman who resides, or has worked in the construction field in Cayuga, Tompkins, Wayne, Seneca, Yates, or Ontario county. A background in construction or equipment is a plus — but the right sales instincts matter more. This role is built for someone with a hunter's mindset and a strategist's brain.
You should be:
  • A high-energy self-starter who thrives working independently and owns their schedule
  • A quick study on people— you read situations fast and adapt your approach without missing a beat
  • Sharp-minded and detail-oriented — you connect dots others miss and follow through on every commitment
  • Resilient and relentless — rejection rolls off you; you already know what you're walking into next
  • Experienced in outside B2B sales, ideally in construction, equipment, industrial, or related industries
