PAS has an immediate full-time business development account manager position available. The position will engage with strategic customers and prospects. Provide value by creating long-term professional relationships, marketing additional products and service offerings, and securing new business.
Experience Requirements:
5 years of manufacturing or distribution required. 5 years of Pharmaceutical Manufacturing preferred.
The Ideal Candidate Possesses:
Pharmacy / healthcare experience is a plus! High sense of integrity, critical thinking skills. Manage multiple tasks Work autonomously focusing on both new business development, retention, and enhancement of key accounts Willingness to learn new concepts and be flexible Ability to multi-task, stay organized, and handle stressful situations Time management and prioritization skills are a must Ability to identify, prioritize, research, document, and bring issues to resolution Fluency in Microsoft Office Accountability and excellent follow-up skills Ability to build relationships with customers Self-sufficient once fully trained and able to develop solutions and make decisions with minimal managerial oversight Job description and responsibilities:
  • Drives new revenue growth by creating strategic plans to uncover and close new business opportunities
  • Sells through network of provided prospects and new prospects found independently
  • Develop and maintain a high level of knowledge about industry, products, processes, and workflow to achieve status as a knowledgeable resource and trusted partner
  • Owns customer relationships throughout the customer life cycle
  • Consultative cross-selling into target and new accounts based on business needs to better support customers' overall operations
  • Reports market, competitor and customer activities back to the leadership team
  • Stays current on industry trends affecting existing and prospected clients to provide strategic insight into their business
  • Oversee customer purchases/sales activities to ensure customer satisfaction and retention
  • Responsible for customer activities such as agreement execution, tracking and funneling customers to appropriate departments
  • Effectively communicate customer and order needs to vendors, the internal sales team, and others within the organization to ensure proper execution
  • Up to 50% travel to account locations and provides representation at assigned industry trade shows and events as needed, inclusive of overnight and weekend stays
  • Maintain overall organization inclusive of accurate and timely notes within HubSpot CRM
  • Exercise strong decision-making and analytical abilities, including critical thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Possess a flexibility and willingness to learn new processes and pivot when/as needed
