Job Description

Join National Dentex - a leading healthcare organization specializing in the dental industry. We offer a full spectrum of specialized products, services, and technologies to address any dental restoration need. Currently, we have several labs throughout the country. Our team is growing, and we are hiring a number of key positions within our organization including this opportunity for a National Director of Sales. This is a remote opportunity. The regular hours for this position are from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday, and subject to change from time to time. Position:
Key Responsibilities:
Leadership & Team Development Lead, coach, and mentor Regional Sales Managers and other sales team members. Set clear expectations for daily activities, performance standards, and professional development. Manage time-off requests and scheduling for Regional Sales Leaders. Assist VP in overseeing sales budget and travel expenses. Provide Leadership Development and training to Regional Sales Managers. Sales Strategy & Execution Develop and implement commercial strategies aligned with company goals to accelerate growth. Plan, execute, and oversee effective sales and marketing initiatives to meet or exceed revenue targets. Monitor team performance using key metrics and adjust strategies as needed. Cross-Functional Collaboration Assist Regional Managers in mentoring Account Managers, Business Development Representatives to ensure a seamless customer and patient experience. Collaborate with Retail Sales, Marketing, Lab Operations, and Professional Education teams to align efforts and drive results. Customer & Vendor Relations Build and maintain strong relationships with current and prospective customers. Support vendor relationships to foster strategic and profitable partnerships. Operational Excellence Utilize Salesforce to run reports, analyze data, and track performance. Partner with Finance to ensure accuracy of commission statements and territory alignment. Establish financial targets and contribute to budget planning and management.
Skills and Abilities Required:
Exceptional leadership, coaching, and team development skills. Excellent communication, analytical, and strategic planning abilities. Excellent organizational and leadership skills. Understanding of dental industry, Dental offices, and National Dentex. Strong entrepreneurial skills and ability to identify opportunities for revenue generation. Understanding of sales and marketing processes. Ability to analyze potential markets, plan selling activities and provide accurate sales forecasts. Ability to communicate complex subject matter to a wide variety of audiences. Knowledge of performance reporting and financial/budgeting processes. Excellent listening, speaking and presentation skills. Excellent decision making abilities. Ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks and projects. Strong professional, ethical and personal integrity. Excellent Computer skills with all MS Office products.
Minimum Education and Experience Required:
Bachelor's Degree with emphasis on business, finance or related field. Recommended 3 Years in Sales Manager/Director level role. Strong proficiency in Salesforce and other sales-related software tools. Ability to work cross-functionally and manage multiple priorities. Proven experience in sales and managing relationships with key customers. Professional experience required in the dental or healthcare industry. High level of integrity and work ethic.
