Bilingual Regional Sales Executive - Commercial HVAC Technical Sales |
FL, PR, MX AQUIS
is a national commercial HVAC specialty solution provider headquartered in Orlando, Florida, and is seeking a Bilingual (Spanish) Regional Sales Director (RSD) to lead sales efforts across Florida, Puerto Rico, and Mexico, with potential expansion into the broader Caribbean region as opportunities arise. This is a Florida-based position. Candidates currently living outside of Florida must be willing to relocate to the Greater Miami, Orlando, or Tampa markets as a condition of employment. The RSD will report directly to the Sr. Vice President of Sales and will be responsible for developing and executing effective sales strategies that meet or exceed AQUIS sales goals and business objectives across both domestic and international markets. This role requires a balance of strategic leadership, new business development, and hands-on sales execution within a geographically and culturally diverse territory. The successful candidate must have 3-7 years of stable experience in outside B2B consultative selling, and must be someone who thrives in a highly autonomous, travel-intensive role, enjoy being a "road warrior" and a strategic hunter of new business. Equally important is the ability to effectively build and manage a sales pipeline, close complex opportunities, and convert prospects into long-term customers across multiple regions. Commercial HVAC knowledge and/or experience is strongly preferred. Experience selling direct to Facilities Management decision makers (i.e., VP Facilities, Director of Engineering, HVAC Manager, Energy Engineers, etc.) in hospitals, universities, government, and/or manufacturing (biotech, pharmaceutical, automotive, food) or some combination of these is required. No residential HVAC or solar sales, please. This position requires the individual to reside in the state of Florida (Greater Miami or Greater Orlando areas, preferred) and operate from a home-based office, with frequent travel throughout Florida and periodic international travel to Puerto Rico and Mexico. Key Responsibilities Develop and execute regional sales strategies that support AQUIS's growth objectives across Florida, Puerto Rico, and Mexico. Identify, pursue, and close new business opportunities within assigned domestic and international markets. Build and manage a robust pipeline of qualified prospects, driving opportunities through the full sales cycle to close. Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with decision-makers, influencers, and technical stakeholders at all organizational levels. Navigate cultural, language, and business practice differences when selling into international markets. Deliver professional sales presentations and product demonstrations to groups ranging from small technical teams to executive leadership. Collaborate cross-functionally with internal teams to ensure successful onboarding, implementation, and long-term customer satisfaction. Represent AQUIS professionally at customer sites, industry events, and regional meetings. Qualifications & Experience We would like to hear from you if you possess: A proven track record of consistently meeting or exceeding sales goals. Strong outside sales experience, with the ability and willingness to travel extensively within Florida and internationally as required. Demonstrated success in new business development through prospecting, hunting, and lead generation. Experience with B2B capital or solution-based selling. Full professional fluency in both English and Spanish required, including the ability to communicate effectively in both languages in executive business settings as well as in day-to-day conversational interactions with customers and partners throughout Puerto Rico and Mexico. Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills in English (Spanish required as noted above). The ability to effectively present to and engage groups of 3-20 people. Comfort interacting with a wide range of stakeholders—from technicians and facility managers to senior executives. Professional maturity, sound judgment, diplomacy, and a strategic mindset. High energy, drive, passion, tenacity, and strong problem-solving skills. Uncompromising integrity, honesty, and ethical standards. Intellectual curiosity and a commitment to continuous learning and improvement. The ability to think both strategically and analytically, and to plan and execute effectively. Physical ability to climb ladders, take measurements, and photograph air handling units located in mechanical rooms, basements, and rooftops. Working knowledge of Salesforce and Microsoft Office (Exchange). A bachelor's degree and at least five (5) years of stable, progressive sales experience. Preferred Qualifications (Immediate Consideration) Experience in HVAC, Facilities Management, or related B2B solution-selling industries. Knowledge of air handling units, indoor air quality, energy efficiency and/or energy optimization initiatives. Commercial HVAC knowledge and/or experience is a must.
