To do that, we invest in the best equipment, materials, and people. We pay our crew above market rates for producing above market results. We are a manufacturer and nation-wide distributor of building materials that sells directly to the builder or homeowner. Most customer contact is via phone and email. The Sales Manager role entails the following: Answering calls and emails from customers wanting to learn about our products. You must learn to be intimately familiar with all our products, their specs, uses, and be able to answer installation questions. Guiding the buying process, removing friction, and effectively selling our products. Taking orders, creating work orders and purchase orders. Entering customer information in Quickbooks. Producing shipments via UPS and several freight company platforms. Working through any issues that may arise throughout the shipping process Other office work as required. Lots of variety to your work. Every person in this small company is a key player, so you must be willing to jump in wherever needed to meet customer schedules and expectations. You'll be working along-side our staff and owner while you learn our products and sales processes. You will work more independently as you become more familiar and fluent with our products and processes. Great communication skills required. Is fluent with spreadsheets and common office software. This position entails considerable data entry, emailing, scheduling of work and shipments, tracking orders, etc. Detail oriented and capable of handling a busy office environment while staying highly organized.
