This pivotal role involves leading business development initiatives, managing key accounts, and driving sales growth within the pulp and paper industry. The successful candidate will leverage their expertise in technical sales, B2B marketing, and customer relationship management to expand our market presence and deliver tailored chemical solutions to clients worldwide. This position offers an exciting opportunity to influence strategic sales initiatives while fostering long-term partnerships in a fast-paced, innovative environment. Responsibilities Develop and execute comprehensive sales strategies targeting pulp and paper manufacturers, converters, and industrial clients to achieve revenue targets. Identify new business opportunities through market analysis, industry networking, and proactive outreach. Manage existing client accounts by providing exceptional customer service, technical support, and customized chemical solutions. Lead negotiations with clients, ensuring mutually beneficial agreements while maintaining profitability. Utilize CRM platforms such as Salesforce to track sales activities, forecast pipeline opportunities, and analyze customer data for strategic insights. Collaborate with marketing teams to develop promotional campaigns that enhance product visibility and market penetration. Provide technical guidance on chemical applications, product specifications, and process improvements to clients. Conduct regular market analysis to stay informed of industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging technologies. Lead cross-functional teams in managing large accounts and complex projects from initial inquiry through delivery. Foster leadership within the sales team by mentoring junior staff and promoting a culture of continuous improvement. Qualifications Proven experience in outside sales within the pulp & paper chemicals sector or related industrial markets. Strong background in B2B sales, with demonstrated success in managing key accounts and developing new business opportunities. BS in chemical engineering, chemistry or related experience. Familiarity with marketing strategies relevant to technical products and services. Proficiency with sales management tools such as Salesforce or similar CRM platforms. Technical knowledge of pulp & paper chemicals, including application processes and industry standards. Excellent negotiation skills coupled with strong analysis capabilities to evaluate market data and customer needs. Leadership qualities that inspire teamwork, strategic thinking, and customer-centric service orientation. Effective communication skills for engaging diverse stakeholders across global markets. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail.
