Sales Leader - Business Development | Capital Moving & Storage | North Carolina | Full-Time | On-Site/Field About Capital Moving & Storage Capital Moving & Storage is a trusted name in household goods moving across North Carolina. We take pride in making every move — local, long-distance, or commercial — seamless and stress-free for our customers. As we grow, we're looking for a driven sales leader to help us capture new market share and build lasting business relationships across the region. The Role This is primarily a hunter position. You'll be on the front lines of our growth strategy — identifying new business, building a robust pipeline, and closing deals. You know how to get in the door, earn trust quickly, and turn prospects into long-term partners. You'll also provide light oversight of our sales team, helping to coach and align them around best practices and shared goals. What You'll Do Prospect and develop new business across target segments, including corporate relocation, real estate partnerships, property managers, HR departments, and commercial accounts Build and execute a territory sales strategy that generates consistent pipeline growth Represent Capital Moving & Storage at local networking events, industry associations, and community organizations Manage and nurture a portfolio of key accounts to drive referrals and repeat business Provide light management and mentorship to sales team members, supporting their development and performance Collaborate with operations leadership to ensure a seamless handoff from sale to service delivery Report on pipeline activity, forecasts, and KPIs to ownership and leadership What We're Looking For 3-7+ years of B2B or B2C sales experience, with a strong track record of hunting and closing new business Experience in the moving industry, relocation services, real estate, logistics, or another local service business strongly preferred Proven ability to build a pipeline from scratch — you know how to prospect, not just respond Comfortable operating both strategically (building the plan) and tactically (working the phones, attending the events, knocking on doors) Some experience leading, coaching, or mentoring a small sales team Strong communicator with a consultative selling style and high emotional intelligence Self-motivated, accountable, and hungry — you measure your own success before anyone else does Familiarity with CRM tools and basic sales reporting Why Capital Moving & Storage Competitive compensation with uncapped performance-based commission Opportunity to shape the sales function of a growing, reputable local company Collaborative, no-bureaucracy environment where your ideas get heard A service people actually need — strong market demand and a trusted brand behind you Compensation This is a performance-driven sales position designed for motivated hunters who thrive in a commission-based environment. New Sales Consultants receive a modest weekly base compensation during the initial 90-day onboarding period, after which the role transitions to a full commission structure. Our current Sales Consultants consistently earn $2,000+ per week, and this opportunity offers an expanded territory footprint with substantial long-term earning potential for high performers.
