Position Summary The Senior Vice President (SVP), Sales & Marketing is a key member of the executive leadership team responsible for driving revenue growth, expanding market share, strengthening brand positioning, and accelerating customer acquisition and retention. This leader will architect and execute a scalable, data-driven commercial strategy across sales, marketing, partnerships, and customer success-balancing near-term revenue delivery with long-term strategic growth initiatives. The ideal candidate brings deep experience in subscription-based financial information services, data platforms, SaaS, or capital markets technology. Key Responsibilities Revenue Strategy & Growth Develop and execute a comprehensive global revenue strategy aligned with company objectives. Drive new logo acquisition, account expansion, and multi-year enterprise contracts. Identify and penetrate new verticals, geographies, and product adjacencies. Lead pricing strategy, packaging innovation, and revenue optimization initiatives. Sales Leadership Build, mentor, and scale high-performing enterprise and institutional sales teams. Implement structured sales methodologies, forecasting discipline, and performance management. Establish KPIs, pipeline rigor, and CRM best practices. Personally engage in strategic enterprise accounts and major negotiations. Marketing & Brand Leadership Oversee integrated marketing strategy including demand generation, content marketing, digital campaigns, events, and brand positioning. Elevate thought leadership in financial research and data markets. Align marketing closely with product, research, and sales for measurable ROI. Strengthen the company's authority with institutional investors and financial professionals. Customer Lifecycle & Retention Enhance client engagement, renewal rates, and lifetime value. Develop voice-of-customer programs and feedback loops. Collaborate with Product and Research teams to ensure market relevance.. Executive Leadership Serve as a strategic advisor to the CEO and Board on growth strategy. Contribute to annual planning, budgeting, and long-range financial modeling. Foster a culture of accountability, performance, and collaboration. Qualifications Experience 10+ years of progressive leadership in sales and marketing within: Financial research, financial data, market intelligence, or fintech Enterprise SaaS or subscription-based information services Proven track record of scaling revenue in a profitable organization. Experience selling to institutional investors, asset managers, banks, or corporations. Demonstrated success managing large, multi-layered commercial teams. Skills & Competencies Strategic and analytical thinker with strong commercial instincts. Expertise in subscription economics, ARR modeling, and enterprise deal cycles. Strong executive presence and board-level communication skills. Data-driven decision maker with CRM and marketing automation expertise. High integrity, leadership, maturity, and collaborative style. Education Bachelor's degree required; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
