Job Description

Business Development Manager Anderson, SC Salary:
$50,000 Direct Hire A growing credit union in Anderson is seeking a Business Development Manager to lead community outreach, business development, and marketing initiatives. This role is ideal for a relationship-driven professional who enjoys building community partnerships, coordinating events, and increasing brand visibility. The ideal candidate is organized, proactive, and comfortable representing the credit union in the community while managing marketing campaigns, outreach efforts, and member engagement initiatives.
Responsibilities:
  • Help grow membership through community outreach and business partnerships
  • Build relationships with local businesses and community organizations
  • Attend networking events and represent the credit union in the community
  • Promote credit union products and services to local employers and organizations
  • Coordinate community sponsorships and charitable giving efforts
  • Lead marketing and branding initiatives across all branch locations
  • Coordinate advertising campaigns, promotions, and member outreach activities
  • Manage marketing materials, signage, and promotional items
  • Work with vendors on printing, advertising, and promotional products
  • Review and approve marketing materials for accuracy and branding consistency
  • Plan and coordinate community events, meetings, and promotional activities
  • Manage event logistics including venues, catering, decorations, and giveaways
  • Support employee engagement and internal events
  • Oversee marketing projects and outreach activities
  • Serve as the primary contact for marketing-related initiatives
  • Prepare reports and presentations for leadership and Board meetings
  • Ensure marketing materials and branch supplies are distributed on time
  • Maintain accurate and professional member communications and marketing materials Qualifications
  • Strong business development and relationship-building experience
  • Experience with marketing campaigns, community outreach, and event coordination
  • Excellent communication, customer service, and organizational skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
  • Professional interpersonal and relationship management skills
  • Leadership and team coordination experience
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and general office technology
  • Ability to represent the organization professionally within the community
