Job Description

Marina Inn at Grande Dunes, one Vista Property Management's portfolios of hotels, is looking for an experienced Golf Sales Manager. We are looking for a self-motivated individual to hold the position as Golf Sales Manager / Director at the Marina Inn at Grande Dunes, a Four Diamond Resort.
Primary:
Process Golf Agreements from start to finish. The coordinator will be responsible for all aspects of the golf packages including handling tee times, room reservations and processing invoices and rain checks. Typical day-to-day activities include handling all aspects of golf reservations by working closely with guests, interacting with team leaders and managers, meeting with guests, attending meetings, selling & processing golf reservations. Knows the type of rooms the hotel has as well as their location and layout. Fully embrace the Marina Inn Service Excellence Initiative by demonstrating "customer-first" actions for all internal and external customers and accepting responsibility and accountability for demonstrating empowerment decisions and actions during daily work.
Responsibilities and Duties:
Process golf packages and Golf Rate Agreements through continuing contact with client pre & post stay. Enter and update golf rooming lists Handle booking requests for individual golf packages and/or group requests Maintain relationship with golf wholesalers Reconcile Invoices Participate in monthly Manager on Duty schedule Monitor golf reservations Manage golf reservations cut off dates by communicating with both the group planner and revenue manager Assist Reservations Manager and/or Revenue Manager regarding finding and moving rooms Attend Weekly Staff Meeting Prepare weekly pickup reports Provide Accounting with group rooming list, payment and other billing information Handle leisure calls, online bookings, vouchers, amenities and golf wholesale folders Complete each specific criteria for every single call. We are mystery shopped Book tee times for incoming groups booked through our Sales & Catering Department Attend Pre-Convention Meetings with groups when requested Knows all safety and emergency procedures, is aware of accident prevention policies. Understand that business demands require flexible scheduling which includes some weekends.
Minimum Qualifications:
High School Diploma or equivalent required.
