Regional Sales Manager STAline Waterworks Inc Garland, TX Job Details Full-time 21 hours ago Qualifications Research Geometry Algebra Full Job Description We are seeking a driven Regional Sales Manager to grow municipal accounts, build strong customer relationships, and identify new sales opportunities. The ideal candidate excels at strategic account management, proactive outreach, and using product expertise to support customers and expand market share. STAline Waterworks is a Charlotte, NC based distributor of waterworks products and related items to contractors and municipalities. Our focus is on building strong and trusted relationships with our customers by delivering superior service, quality products and dynamic solutions. Job Requirements:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent from a four-year college or university. 8 to 10 years of waterworks experience required. Ability to read and write general business correspondence. Ability to analyze and interpret reports, technical procedures, regulations, and policies. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from managers, customers, or public. Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, material margins and volume, area, circumference and apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry. Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in oral, written, or diagram form and solve problems involving several concrete variables.Job Responsibilities:
Promote and sell products and services to a variety of municipal customers. Manage account relationships within a regional territory. Travel to and communicate regularly with existing customers to effectively build and maintain relationships. Proactively seek to identify opportunities and grow sales by researching and bidding on prospective jobs. Seek opportunities to grow market share within assigned territory by determining municipality needs and monitoring competition. Engage key decision makers and influencers to retain and grow business. Build a strategy to meet annual sales objectives. Follow-up on leads and open opportunities. Provide product pricing and availability over the phone, in person, or through various electronic technologies, by using independent judgment, negotiation, and decision-making skills. Provide suggestions and options to customers using detailed knowledge of products and their intended application. Utilize selling and relationship building skills to meet or exceed monthly sales and margin goals. Independently manage numerous accounts to ensure pricing is competitive and adds value for the customer. Partner with Outside Sales, Inside Sales, and Branch Operations teams as needed. Train and mentor employees newly assigned to sales positions within the region. Perform other duties as assigned. STAline Waterworks is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
