Job Description

Are you looking for a new challenge ? Are you passionate about sales and the construction industry ? We have a position for you! A company in the construction industry is looking for a Sales Development Manager to increase its market share in the region. The incumbent will be responsible for driving business development within an assigned territory by identifying key targets and building long‑term growth frameworks to expand accounts and meet regional goals. He will lead new‑market entry efforts through partnership and sector assessments, partner with the General Manager to set annual sales plans to capture market share and manage the full sales lifecycle from lead qualification to final handover while maintaining a strong pipeline to achieve performance targets.
Role and responsibilities:
Direct territory expansion and strategic account planning by identifying key targets and establishing long-term growth frameworks that support regional goals; Lead new market entry programs by assessing potential partnerships and related industry sectors; Partner with the General Manager to establish annual sales plans and objectives designed to capture additional market share; Oversee the full sales lifecycle from lead qualification to final handover, maintaining a robust pipeline to hit performance benchmarks; Discover and secure fresh opportunities for business revenue; Perform comprehensive market research and gather intelligence on industry competitors; Cultivate and preserve high-level business ties with general contractors; Collect critical industry and client data to stay ahead of emerging market shifts; Finalize contract terms with key stakeholders in coordination with the General Manager; Monitor commercial news, industry portals, and formal invitations for bidding prospects; Review all specifications and tender documentation thoroughly before submitting bids; Represent the firm at tender-related meetings while tracking all submission history accurately; Deliver monthly evaluations regarding sales efficiency and productivity results; Create targeted action plans to drive volume growth across all corporate product lines; Evaluate how various sales initiatives impact short-term and long-term operating margins; Implement ongoing promotional efforts, including social media and public relations, to enhance brand visibility; Foster and sustain productive alliances with trade associations and major industry partners; Act as a company representative at networking functions and trade shows while staying current on industry news; Carry out additional assignments as requested by the management team.
What we are looking for:
Minimum of 5 to 7 years of experience in sales and business development; Possess a college degree in Business Administration, Marketing or Civil Engineering or a comparable mix of education and experience; Demonstrated expertise in formulating marketing and sales growth frameworks is mandatory; Competency in prioritizing objectives, structuring plans, and driving initiatives to completion; Capability to perform effectively as an autonomous worker, a team contributor, or a leader; Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills to evaluate market trends and commercial performance data; Familiarity with structural components and the ability to evaluate blueprints is preferred; Aptitude for analyzing and interpreting tender documentation and legal contract agreements; Capacity to maintain productivity and composure under high-pressure conditions; What we offer: Medical insurance plan Annual Bonus Plan Paid vacation days, sick days, and holidays 401(k) retirement plan match Opportunity to work for a growing company Great team and family type environment
