This is a high-level management position designed for someone who is confident, organized, solution-oriented, and ready to make an immediate impact. The Property Management Executive will oversee a portfolio of approximately 300 to 450 single-family units and will serve as the team leader for that portfolio. This is not an entry-level property management position. We are looking for someone who has meaningful property management experience beyond leasing properties and coordinating repairs. The ideal candidate will have experience working directly with property owners, understanding market dynamics, evaluating property performance, making sound recommendations, and making tough decisions on behalf of an owner when needed. We are looking for someone who takes ownership of the position, the team, the properties, and the overall client experience. This role requires strong leadership, excellent judgment, good decision-making ability, and the ability to motivate a team while maintaining a high standard of customer service. Customer service is paramount in this position. The ideal candidate must have excellent to expert-level communication skills and be comfortable communicating with owners, residents, vendors, leasing staff, and support team members in a professional and timely manner. Applicants must have at least 3 years of property management experience and an active Texas Real Estate License. Reliable transportation is required, and mileage reimbursement is offered. Duties include:
Communication with owners Handling complex problems involving tenants, owners, vendors, Texas Property Code, and property operations Developing solutions and taking ownership of difficult situations Understanding rental market dynamics and making recommendations based on pricing, condition, vacancy, and owner goals Making sound decisions on behalf of property owners Leading, motivating, and supporting a team Project management Cultivating new vendors Marketing strategies with owners Routine follow-up with owners and vendors Delegating tasks to support staff Generating written notices Using MS Office products, Google App Suite, and Google Calendar Managing personal organization and daily workflow Working comfortably by email and mobile phone Inspecting properties Creating make-ready lists and instructions Developing and implementing marketing strategies Reviewing accounting information and reading P&L statements Working well with a team and residential leasing agents Being a team player while taking full ownership of managed properties Providing excellent customer service to owners, residents, vendors, and internal team members Maintaining clear, professional, and timely communication Making an immediate and positive impact on the portfolio The following is preferred, but not required: Bilingual Project management experience Construction experience This position is best suited for someone who enjoys leadership, problem-solving, communication, and creating structure in a fast-paced property management environment.
