In this highly visible and key role, the Business Development Manager should exhibit leadership towards the achievement of maximum profitability and growth in-line with company vision and values. The Business Development Manager is responsible for uncovering and facilitating large scale and repeatable projects with the company's existing and new customer base in the Permian/Delaware Basins and all West Texas. In addition, the Business Development Manager will be responsible for managing sales channels including distribution and collaborative ventures. With assistance from the Director of Global Business Development and upper management, this role will be responsible for cross training the Account Managers on commercializing the full product line and helping to link the specific value propositions of each solution to the customers' needs. Emphasis is placed on creating and helping the Account Managers communicate the value proposition to all customers. The Business Development Manager represents the company before the customer and as such dresses, behaves, and presents him or her-self in a professional manner at all times. The Business Development Manager works with the company's customers to intimately understand the needs and requirements of those customers and jointly formulates plans to help the customer optimize oil and gas production creating a sustainable relationship. In this consultative role, the Business Development Manager will develop strong customer relationships and drive the customer towards the company's products. Reporting to the Director of Global Business Development Responsibilities Effectively maintains and retains existing customers by building long-term relationships. Tracks personal sales statistics/communications and submits them to the Director of Sales for period reviews. Builds customer base by meeting with potential clients and educating them on the benefits of Well Master products and services. Supports the Director of Global Business Development and all management on sales related initiatives and fills gaps as necessary. Drives growth in new and infancy stage markets. Responds to all requests for proposals and orders. Travels to visit current and potential customers regularly. Completes proactive customer "good will" calls. Manages and interprets customer requirements. Qualifies customers' needs and constructs solutions that deliver value to end users. Builds and implements strategic action plans, especially in new markets and new ventures. Builds quotations for West Texas sales force. Negotiates tender and contract terms. Negotiates and closes sales by agreeing to terms and conditions (as approved). Resolves customer conflict effectively. Plans and prepares the organization for large scale projects. Offers after-sales support services. Administers accounts. Analyzes costs and sales. Prepares reports for head office. Meets and exceeds regular sales targets and goals. Records and maintains customer contact data. Supports marketing by attending trade shows, conferences, and other marketing events. Makes technical presentations and demonstrates how products will meet customer needs. Provides pre-sales technical assistance and product education. Builds relationships with other members of the sales team and other technical experts. Solves customer problems. Helps in the design of custom products and solutions. Provides training and produces support material as required. Participates in continued education to learn about new products and improved sales techniques. Utilizes Customer Relationship Management Tools to track customer progress. Requirements The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. Strong leadership skills, with excellent oral and written communication skills, including group presentations Education, experience, and other requirements 3-5 years' Artificial Lift experience Four-year, undergraduate degree from an accredited college or university preferred, but not required 3-5 years' experience in sales and account management Oil & Gas sales experience Maintenance of a valid driver's license and an acceptable driving record required In compliance with Colorado's "Equal Pay for Equal Work Act," the Company provides the following information:
