Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a results-driven Marketing, Sales & Business Development Manager to lead the growth strategy, revenue generation, and brand expansion of a boutique wellness studio. This role is ideal for a proactive leader who thrives at the intersection of marketing execution, relationship-building, sales performance, and business growth . This individual will be directly responsible for driving lead generation, increasing membership and service sales, building strategic partnerships, and executing local growth initiatives that expand studio visibility and revenue. This position offers a performance-oriented compensation structure , with a base salary complemented by commission and bonus opportunities tied to sales growth, partnerships, and key business development milestones. Responsibilities
  • Marketing, Sales, Business Development & Growth Own and execute local marketing, lead generation, and revenue growth strategies to increase memberships, packages, and retail sales Develop and manage sales funnels, outreach campaigns, and follow-up processes across phone, text, email, social media, and in-person interactions Generate qualified leads through community partnerships, referral programs, pop-ups, onsite and off-site events, and digital-to-local campaigns Consistently meet or exceed monthly sales, conversion, and growth targets tied to incentive compensation Track leads, conversion rates, campaign performance, and revenue metrics to identify opportunities for growth and optimization Collaborate with leadership on pricing, promotions, offers, and business development strategies that drive customer acquisition and retention Business Development & Community Partnerships Identify, develop, and manage strategic partnerships with local businesses, employers, surrounding communities, wellness providers, and referral sources Represent the studio as a brand ambassador at networking events, community activations, health fairs, and promotional opportunities Create and execute business development outreach plans that generate new customer channels and recurring revenue opportunities Leverage events and partnerships as direct sales opportunities to drive consultations, trials, memberships, and package conversions Marketing & Brand Expansion Plan and implement grassroots, local, and partnership-based marketing initiatives to increase awareness, traffic, and demand Support and coordinate studio marketing campaigns, content initiatives, promotions, and community engagement efforts aligned with brand goals Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and customer feedback to refine messaging and improve positioning Maintain consistent brand standards across outreach, events, promotional materials, and customer interactions Leadership, Accountability & Growth Culture Help train and coach team members to support growth objectives Build a high-performance, customer-focused culture centered on sales excellence, responsiveness, accountability, and hospitality Train team members on lead handling, conversion best practices, membership positioning, objection handling, and customer retention techniques Review performance metrics regularly and lead team conversations around targets, campaigns, promotions, and growth opportunities Operations, Reporting & Administration Oversee daily studio operations in partnership with ownership or leadership to ensure exceptional customer experience Maintain accurate records in POS, CRM, and lead-tracking systems to support reporting, forecasting, and performance management Manage promotional execution, membership agreements, sales reporting, and basic administrative tasks with accuracy and consistency Support inventory coordination, merchandising, and operational readiness to align with revenue goals Ensure compliance with company policies, service standards, and operational procedures Compensation Structure Base Salary•Provides stable income while supporting strategic growth and day-to-day business development efforts Commission & Bonus Opportunities•Earned through: Membership and package sales growth Lead conversion and customer acquisition performance Strategic partnership development and event results Monthly, quarterly, and launch-related growth milestones High performers will have strong upside earning potential based on sales production, partnership growth, and overall studio performance.
Qualifications Proven experience in marketing, sales, business development, or growth-focused leadership roles , ideally within wellness, fitness, hospitality, retail, or service-based businesses Strong track record of driving revenue growth, lead generation, and customer acquisition Experience developing partnerships, community relationships, and local marketing initiatives that produce measurable results Confident, consultative communication style with strong closing, follow-up, and relationship-building skills Ability to analyze performance data, sales activity, and campaign effectiveness to improve outcomes Strong presentation and negotiation skills Demonstrated success in performance-based or incentive-driven environments Strong leadership skills with the ability to coach teams and drive accountability Proficiency with CRM systems, POS platforms, lead-tracking tools, and basic business reporting Excellent organization, time management, and self-direction in a fast-paced environment Previous experience in a Studio Manager, Growth Manager, Business Development, or Sales Leadership role preferred Must have valid driver's license, clean record, auto insurance and reliable transportation
