Job Description

Director of Sales Blackhill Granites, LLC Virginia (Regional Travel Required) Position Summary Blackhill Granites is seeking a senior sales leader to drive revenue growth through direct sales, strategic relationship development with installers, and increased architectural specification of its products. This role is responsible for expanding market presence, strengthening existing client relationships, and developing new opportunities across architectural and construction sectors. The primary focus of this role is on building relationships with masonry, façade, and hardscape installers while also supporting specification development with architects and design teams. The position requires a strong understanding of the construction and design process, with the ability to engage architects, contractors, and specialty installers from early design through project execution. Key Responsibilities Drive revenue growth through proactive sales strategy and execution Build and maintain relationships with contractors and installers, including masonry, façade, and hardscape trades Develop new business opportunities and expand existing client relationships Identify, pursue, and bid new project opportunities Review drawings and specifications to identify scope and sales opportunities Coordinate internally to develop accurate and competitive proposals Engage architects and specifiers to support product inclusion in project specifications Track specifications and help convert them into awarded projects Expand the company's presence into new geographic markets Maintain and manage pipeline activity using CRM Qualifications Experience in construction product sales, particularly with contractors, installers, or specialty trades Established relationships with masonry, façade, or hardscape contractors strongly preferred Proven ability to drive revenue growth and close project-based sales Ability to read and interpret architectural drawings and specifications Experience using CRM systems (Zoho CRM preferred; Salesforce or HubSpot acceptable) Experience working with architects and design teams is a plus Strong communication skills and professional presence High level of integrity and accountability Preferred Experience Background in architectural natural stone, masonry, precast, or related building materials, natural stone (limestone, marble, granite) products, natural stone fabrication Experience in specification-driven sales environments Project management or coordination experience within construction
Compensation Base Salary:
commensurate with experience Performance-based bonus/commission tied to revenue growth and gross margin Additional incentives for new business development and market expansion Business development and approved travel expenses reimbursed About Blackhill Granites Blackhill Granites is a trusted dimension stone fabricator. $70,000.00 - $125,000.00 per year
