Safford Volkswagen of Fredericksburg is looking for a high-energy, forward-thinking General Sales Manager to lead our sales operation. We want someone who is passionate about coaching people, creating a winning culture, embracing technology, and helping customers have an exceptional buying experience. This is an opportunity for a motivated leader who wants to make a significant impact with one of Virginia's premier automotive groups. What You'll Do Lead, train, and mentor a team of Sales Consultants and Managers Create a culture of accountability, energy, and continuous improvement Drive showroom, internet, phone, and digital sales performance Work deals and assist in closing transactions Develop and execute sales strategies to increase volume and profitability Monitor key performance metrics and coach the team to success Recruit, hire, and develop top sales talent Partner with Finance and Fixed Operations to maximize customer satisfaction and retention Ensure a world-class customer experience throughout the sales process What We're Looking For Automotive sales management experience required Strong leadership and team-building skills Proven ability to train, motivate, and develop high-performing sales teams Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Strong desk management and deal-closing experience Digital retailing and CRM experience preferred Driven, energetic, and positive attitude Growth mindset and willingness to challenge the status quo Why Join Safford Volkswagen?
