The Event Sales Manager's primary responsibility is selling and servicing the event space, concentrating sales efforts in Banquet Food & Beverage and Meeting Room Rental for catering business. This position acts as a one stop shop sales contact & liaison between Meeting Planners and the hotel staff, and clients should view the Event Sales Manager as an enthusiastic and passionate expert in the planning and sales fields. Responsibilities include covering the full life cycle of the event from selling event spaces, menu planning and agenda setting, diagramming, detailing all Food, Beverage and A/V needs, onsite management and managing billing/final post event review. Business Development is also a crucial portion and skill for this job. The salary range for this position is $80,170.00 to $109,800.
