Duties Operate the POS (Point of Sale) system accurately to process sales, returns, and exchanges Greet customers warmly and provide excellent customer service throughout their shopping journey Conduct product demos when appropriate to highlight features and benefits Upsell additional items or services to enhance customer satisfaction and store sales Maintain merchandising standards by stocking shelves, organizing displays, and ensuring product availability Handle cash transactions with precision, including cash handling and basic math calculations Demonstrate strong phone etiquette when assisting customers over the phone or via online inquiries Assist with inventory management by stocking products and conducting regular stock checks Experience Previous cashier experience in a retail or grocery store environment preferred but not required Familiarity with POS systems and cash handling procedures essential Supervising experience is a plus, especially in managing team members or training new staff Bilingual skills are highly valued to serve a diverse customer base effectively Strong communication skills to interact confidently with customers and team members Experience in retail sales, merchandising, or grocery stores will help you succeed in this role Ability to perform retail math accurately for transactions and inventory management Join us to be part of a dynamic team dedicated to delivering exceptional service!
