Job Description
Overview Join our dynamic team as a Team Leader/Cashier, where you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional customer service while leading daily operations in a fast-paced food service environment. This position offers an exciting opportunity to combine leadership, sales, and food industry expertise to create a welcoming atmosphere for our guests. As a key member of our team, you will oversee cashier responsibilities, support food preparation, and ensure smooth restaurant operations with enthusiasm and professionalism. Duties Lead and motivate team members to deliver outstanding customer service and maintain high standards of food quality and safety Manage cashier functions using POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS, including cash handling, processing transactions, and balancing registers accurately Assist with food preparation tasks, ensuring adherence to sanitation and food safety guidelines while maintaining efficiency during busy hours Upsell menu items to enhance sales opportunities and improve guest satisfaction through friendly engagement Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the dining area, kitchen, and food prep stations by performing bussing, cleaning, and food handling duties Support inventory management by monitoring stock levels, assisting with restocking supplies, and recording sales data using retail math skills Provide excellent customer service by addressing guest inquiries promptly, resolving issues professionally, and creating a welcoming café or quick-service environment Qualifications Previous experience in food service, restaurant operations, or retail environments is highly preferred Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus Strong skills in cash handling, basic math, and retail math for accurate transactions and reporting Knowledge of food preparation techniques, sanitation standards, and food safety protocols in the food industry Ability to manage time effectively in a fast-paced setting while multitasking between cashier duties and food service responsibilities Excellent customer service skills with a friendly attitude and strong communication abilities Experience working in quick service or fast-food restaurants is advantageous Basic kitchen experience or café background is beneficial but not required Join us to be part of an energetic team dedicated to delivering top-notch service while fostering a positive environment for both colleagues and guests.
