Job Description
Overview Join our dynamic team as a Cashier and Crew Member, where your energy and enthusiasm will help create a welcoming environment for our customers! In this role, you'll be the friendly face that greets guests, processes transactions efficiently using POS systems, and supports food preparation and service. Your positive attitude and attention to detail will ensure every customer leaves satisfied and eager to return. Responsibilities Operate cash registers using Aloha POS or Micros POS systems to process sales accurately and efficiently Greet customers warmly, answer questions, and provide exceptional customer service throughout their visit Handle cash transactions with precision, including cash handling, credit card processing, and giving correct change Assist in food preparation tasks such as assembling orders, maintaining food safety standards, and ensuring cleanliness in the food prep area Support food industry operations by bussing tables, maintaining sanitation standards, and ensuring food handling protocols are followed Upsell menu items or products to enhance sales opportunities while providing helpful recommendations to customers Maintain a clean and organized workspace in the café or quick-service environment, adhering to sanitation and safety regulations Requirements Prior experience in food service, quick service restaurants, or retail environments is preferred but not mandatory; enthusiasm for learning is key! Basic math skills for cash handling, sales calculations, and retail math accuracy Strong customer service skills with a friendly, energetic attitude and excellent communication abilities Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks such as bussing tables or stocking supplies Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures Experience with POS systems like Aloha or Micros is a plus but training will be provided Culinary experience or kitchen background is advantageous for supporting food prep duties Join us if you're ready to bring your positive energy to a vibrant team focused on delivering memorable customer experiences!
