Duties Greet customers warmly and provide friendly, efficient service at the gas station and restaurant counters Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems accurately for sales transactions, including cash handling and credit card processing Assist customers with product inquiries, upselling items, and conducting product demos when appropriate Stock shelves, merchandise displays, and ensure cleanliness of the retail area and food service zones Manage inventory levels by monitoring stock, restocking supplies, and assisting with grocery store-related duties Maintain phone etiquette when taking orders or answering customer inquiries over the phone Support food preparation and serve food items in accordance with health and safety standards Supervise or assist new team members as needed, fostering a positive team environment and ensuring excellent customer service Skills Strong communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with diverse customers in bilingual settings if applicable Proven experience with POS systems, cashiering, retail sales, and cash handling procedures Demonstrated supervising experience or ability to oversee team activities during shifts Knowledge of grocery store operations, merchandising, stocking, and retail math calculations Ability to upsell products confidently and conduct product demos to enhance sales opportunities Excellent customer service skills with a focus on phone etiquette and resolving customer concerns professionally Basic math skills for handling transactions accurately and managing retail or grocery store inventories This role offers an exciting opportunity to develop your sales and customer service expertise while working in a vibrant environment.
