Part Time Cashier 8-10hrs Weekly

Job Summary Join our dynamic team as a Part-Time Cashier, working 8 to 10 hours weekly in a lively pop-up environment! This role is perfect for motivated individuals who thrive on providing exceptional customer service, managing transactions efficiently, and creating a welcoming shopping experience. This job is limited to Saturdays only and special events, anywhere 8-10 hours from 7am - 4pm or 8am - 3pm. Work hours may vary on special events. Responsibilities Greet customers warmly and assist them with their purchases using POS (Point of Sale) systems. Handle cash, credit card, and mobile payments with accuracy and attention to detail. Provide product demonstrations and suggest additional items through effective upselling strategies. Experience Previous cashiering experience in a retail or grocery store setting is preferred but not required; training will be provided. Familiarity with POS systems, cash handling procedures, and basic retail math is advantageous. Bilingual abilities are a plus to better serve diverse customer bases. A proactive attitude towards customer service combined with basic math skills will ensure smooth transactions and satisfied shoppers.
