Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and friendly Part Time Cashier / Assistant to join our team! This role offers an exciting opportunity to provide exceptional customer service, manage daily administrative tasks, and support the smooth operation of our business. The ideal candidate will be energetic, detail-oriented, and possess strong organizational skills. You will be the welcoming face of our establishment, handling transactions efficiently while assisting with various office duties to ensure a positive experience for all visitors and customers. This position is perfect for someone looking to grow their office management and customer support skills in a fast-paced environment. Duties Greet customers warmly and provide excellent customer service at the cash register and front desk Process sales transactions accurately using POS systems and handle cash, credit, or digital payments Answer multi-line phone systems promptly, professionally, and courteously Assist with clerical tasks such as data entry, filing, proofreading, and maintaining organized records Support office management activities including calendar management, appointment scheduling, and basic bookkeeping using QuickBooks or similar software Manage incoming correspondence, emails, and inquiries via phone or email while practicing proper phone etiquette Maintain a clean and organized workspace, ensuring all supplies are stocked and office equipment is functioning properly Support personal assistant duties such as managing schedules, coordinating meetings, and handling light administrative requests Experience Previous office experience or clerical background preferred but not required; training will be provided Strong computer skills including proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and Google Workspace applications Experience with multi-line phone systems and front desk operations highly desirable Bilingual abilities are a plus to assist diverse customer needs effectively Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks efficiently Demonstrated customer service experience with a professional attitude and strong communication skills Familiarity with QuickBooks or bookkeeping tools is advantageous but not mandatory Ability to type quickly with high accuracy while managing multiple responsibilities simultaneously Join us in creating a welcoming environment where your enthusiasm and organizational talents can shine!
