Job Description

Overview Join our growing hospitality group as a valued team member, where your enthusiasm and dedication will create a welcoming environment for guests. In this role, you'll be the friendly face that ensures efficient food preparation, smooth cashier operations, and exceptional guest service. You'll play a vital part in delivering quick, quality service in a fast-paced setting, helping to foster a positive experience for every guest. Whether handling food, operating POS systems, or maintaining sanitation standards, your energy and attention to detail will drive our success. Duties Prepare and assemble food items following established recipes and safety guidelines, ensuring freshness and quality. Operate point-of-sale (POS) systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS accurately for transactions, sales, and cash handling. Provide excellent customer service by greeting guests warmly, taking orders efficiently, and upselling menu items to enhance their experience. Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards by bussing tables, cleaning workstations, and adhering to food safety protocols. Manage cash register operations with accuracy, including processing payments and giving correct change. Assist with food handling duties such as stocking supplies, organizing inventory, and ensuring proper food storage. Support team members with food preparation tasks during busy periods to ensure quick service times. Experience Previous experience in food service or quick-service restaurants is preferred but not required; we value enthusiasm and a willingness to learn. Familiarity with POS systems like Aloha or Micros is advantageous but training will be provided. Basic math skills are essential for cash handling, sales transactions, and inventory management. Experience in customer service roles within the food industry or retail environments will help you succeed. Knowledge of food safety practices, sanitation procedures, and proper food handling techniques is highly desirable. Ability to manage time effectively in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail. Prior kitchen or café experience can be beneficial but is not mandatory; we welcome motivated individuals eager to grow their skills. $16.90 - $20.00 per hour
