Third Base Market & Spirits is a locally owned convenience store and gas station serving the Grover Beach community. We pride ourselves on delivering friendly service and maintaining a clean, well-stocked store. We're looking for a reliable and motivated Cashier/Stocker to join our team and help ensure every customer has a smooth, welcoming experience.

Job Overview:

In this dual-role position, you'll be the friendly face at the register and a key player in keeping our shelves stocked and organized. Ideal candidates are team-oriented, dependable, and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Greet customers and provide outstanding service during their visit. Operate the cash register accurately to process sales and returns. Restock shelves, coolers, and displays, ensuring products are faced properly and organized. Receive deliveries and stock inventory efficiently. Use an RF scanner and inventory tools to track stock levels. Help maintain store cleanliness, including the checkout area, aisles, and back stockroom. Follow safety guidelines and proper lifting techniques (up to 50 lbs). Assist with other duties as needed to keep the store running smoothly.

Qualifications:

Must be 21 years of age or older (due to alcohol and tobacco sales). Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Ability to lift heavy items and be on your feet for extended periods. Previous retail or cashier experience is a plus, but not required —we'll train the right person! Friendly, dependable, and willing to jump in wherever needed. Why Join Us?
