about position Join our retail team as a Stocker/Cashier! In this role, you'll stock shelves, keep the store clean and organized, and help customers at checkout. You'll also answer questions, process purchases, and make sure the store stays well-stocked and welcoming. Your work helps create a positive shopping experience for our customers. Responsibilities Restock shelves, ensuring products are properly faced, dusted, and organized Operate the cash register using POS (Point of Sale) systems accurately for transactions Provide friendly and professional customer service by greeting shoppers, answering questions, and offering product recommendations check ID's to ensure we follow the laws Handle cash, credit card transaction ,with accuracy and integrity Assist with inventory management by monitoring stock levels and communicating replenishment needs to supervisors Skills Strong communication skills with the ability to engage customers effectively in a bilingual environment if applicable Experience supervising or leading team members is a plus for supporting store operations Proficiency in POS systems, cash handling, and retail math for accurate transactions Knowledge of liquor store operations, merchandising techniques, and stock management Basic math skills necessary for balancing registers and managing transactions accurately Customer service orientation with a friendly attitude and proactive problem-solving skills

Pay:

$18.00 - $19.00 per hour
