In this role, you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service while efficiently handling transactions and maintaining stock levels. The ideal candidate will have a passion for retail, strong communication skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Duties Process customer transactions accurately and efficiently at the cash register. Handle cash and credit card payments with precision, ensuring proper cash handling procedures. Assist in restocking shelves and maintaining product displays to ensure an appealing shopping environment. Upsell products by effectively communicating promotions and special offers to customers. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the checkout area and stockroom. Provide exceptional customer service by answering questions, addressing concerns, and assisting customers as needed. Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth store operations. Experience Previous experience in a grocery store or retail environment is preferred but not required. Proficiency in cash handling and basic math skills to ensure accurate transactions. Strong communication skills, with the ability to engage with customers effectively. Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply as it enhances communication with diverse customers. Familiarity with phone etiquette for handling customer inquiries over the phone is a plus.
