For the Alameda County Fair in Pleasanton. We are looking for eager and honest individuals to work as cashiers in our food concession stand during the county fair. Experience is not required but always a plus. Must be able to multi-task and handle fast pace environment. Will be required to take customer food orders, hand out food, serve drinks, and keep area clean at all times. Must be able to lift a minimum of 40 pounds. Will be required to keep area fully stocked and clean at all times. Must become familiar with menu items and food being serve. Hours will vary according to venue and based upon availability, event hours run from 11:30 am to 11 pm. Spanish speaking is always a plus. Qualifications
  • Ability to communicate effectively in Spanish
  • No prior experience required
  • Basic math skills for cash handling
  • Strong customer service skills
  • Willingness to learn and adapt quickly
  • Multilingual or bilingual skills a plus
  • Comfortable with technology and POS systems
  • Upselling experience preferred
  • Organizational and time management skills recommended Please join us for interviews on June 16th at 6 pm.
