The ideal candidate will have a passion for providing exceptional customer service and will play a vital role in enhancing the shopping experience for our customers. This position involves operating cash registers, handling transactions, and assisting customers with their purchases while maintaining a clean and organized sales floor. Responsibilities Greet customers warmly and provide assistance with their inquiries. Operate cash registers and handle cash transactions accurately. Process sales through the Point of Sale (POS) system efficiently. Maintain knowledge of current promotions, products, and services to effectively upsell to customers. Stock shelves and ensure merchandise is displayed attractively. Assist in inventory management by monitoring stock levels and reporting shortages. Provide excellent customer service by addressing customer needs and resolving any issues that arise. Supervise junior staff members when necessary, ensuring adherence to company policies and procedures. Qualifications Proven experience in retail sales or cashier roles is preferred. Strong cash handling skills with attention to detail in processing transactions. Basic math skills for accurate cash register operations. Excellent phone etiquette for handling customer inquiries via phone. Ability to upsell products effectively to enhance customer satisfaction. Strong organizational skills to maintain a tidy sales area and manage stock efficiently. Exceptional customer service skills with a friendly demeanor. Familiarity with POS systems is an advantage.
