Responsibilities Greet customers warmly and assist them with their shopping needs across grocery, freezer, and produce sections Operate the POS (Point of Sale) system accurately for cashiering transactions, including cash handling and credit card processing Stock shelves, organize displays, and ensure product freshness through regular merchandising and stocking efforts Conduct product demos and upselling to enhance customer experience and increase sales opportunities Maintain cleanliness and organization of all sections, including freezer units and produce displays Provide excellent phone etiquette when assisting customers via phone inquiries or order pickups Support in product knowledge sharing by explaining features or offering recommendations to shoppers Requirements Prior experience in retail sales or grocery store environments is preferred but not required; training will be provided Strong communication skills with the ability to assist diverse customers effectively Bilingual abilities are a plus to serve our diverse community better Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math calculations, and POS operations Demonstrated customer service skills with a positive attitude and proactive approach Ability to stand for extended periods, lift moderate loads, and work in refrigerated/freezer environments safely Supervising experience is advantageous for those interested in leadership opportunities within the team This role offers a vibrant work atmosphere where your contributions directly impact customer satisfaction.
