Crew Member (Cashier & Kitchen Support)

Duties Greet customers warmly and provide friendly, efficient service at the cashier station using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS. Handle cash, credit card transactions, and food orders accurately while maintaining strict food safety and sanitation standards. Support food preparation tasks including assembling menu items, portioning ingredients, and ensuring food quality meets company standards. Assist in kitchen operations by bussing tables, cleaning workstations, and managing food handling responsibilities to promote a clean and safe environment. Engage with customers through upselling techniques to boost sales of featured items or add-ons, enhancing their dining experience. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area, kitchen, and service counters to ensure compliance with sanitation regulations. Collaborate with team members to ensure timely service during busy periods, demonstrating excellent time management skills in a quick service or fast-food restaurant setting. Requirements Previous experience in food service, cashiering, or retail environments is preferred but not required; enthusiasm and willingness to learn are essential! Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus. Basic math skills for handling cash transactions accurately and performing sales calculations. Knowledge of food safety practices, sanitation standards, and proper food handling procedures. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple tasks simultaneously. Strong customer service skills with a positive attitude and excellent communication abilities. Flexibility to work various shifts including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
