• We at Sunny Blue are looking for individuals who have passion and pride in serving great food to great people with a smile on their face.
• Starting rate is $17.87/hr. if you have 1 year restaurant experience. Additional cash tips with each shift.
• We are hiring for our Santa Monica location.

1. Are you a high school graduate or above? We are only hiring HS grads at this time. 2. Are you looking for a permanent position? We are not hiring seasonal hires at this time. 3. Have you been to Sunny Blue before? Are you familiar with omusubi? If not please go to sunnyblueinc.com to learn about it and our restaurant. 4. Flexibility with work hours is a plus. Currently we are accepting applicants who can work anywhere from a few hours a week or only a few days a week (or weekends) up to a full time position with a full schedule. Is this you? 5. Do you have reliable transportation to work on time? 6. Do you live close to Santa Monica or Culver City for ease of transportation and getting to work on time? 7. You will be working on your feet and may need to lift items up to 30 pounds. Are you able to do this? 8. Are you authorized to work in the US? 9. What is your availability like? Will you be working another job or attending school at the same time? 10. Will your availability be changing in the future drastically i.e. if you are moving or going back to school where you would be much less available, or if you are taking on another job? 11. Do you have any upcoming time off that is more than 3 days in a row? I.e. a long trip. 12. Will you be comfortable handling the stress of a busy casual dining restaurant such as Sunny Blue? We can get very busy but still need to have a positive attitude with customers. 13. Do you have good people skills and a positive attitude? Please describe. 14. Our ideal employee is someone who is dedicated, responsible, punctual, time-flexible, has a positive attitude, great customer service personality and can work well in a fast paced stressful environment. • Experience in the food industry is a plus, but not required; we will train you.
