Responsibilities Greet customers warmly and assist them with their purchases, ensuring a positive shopping experience Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems accurately to process sales, returns, and exchanges Handle cash, credit/debit card transactions, and perform cash handling duties with precision Upsell products and promote store specials or promotions to enhance sales opportunities Maintain merchandising standards by stocking shelves, organizing displays, and ensuring product availability Conduct product demos when appropriate to educate customers about new or featured items Provide excellent phone etiquette when answering inquiries or assisting customers remotely Assist with inventory management tasks such as stock replenishment and merchandising setup Experience Previous cashiering experience in a retail or grocery store environment is preferred but not required; training will be provided Familiarity with POS systems and basic retail math to handle transactions confidently Strong communication skills to effectively interact with customers and team members Supervising experience is a plus for those interested in advancing into leadership roles Bilingual abilities are highly valued to serve diverse customer needs effectively Knowledge of grocery store operations, product placement, and stock management enhances performance in this role This energetic position offers an engaging work environment where your enthusiasm and dedication directly contribute to customer satisfaction.
