What you'll do Process customer transactions efficiently using Point of Sale (POS) systems while ensuring accuracy in cash handling. Provide outstanding customer service by greeting shoppers warmly and assisting them with their inquiries. Maintain a clean and organized checkout area, ensuring that merchandising displays are attractive and well-stocked. Demonstrate product knowledge through engaging product demos that highlight features and benefits to customers. Supervise junior staff during shifts, providing guidance on best practices in customer interaction and sales techniques. Handle phone inquiries with professionalism, ensuring all customer questions are answered promptly and accurately. Utilize basic math skills to manage cash drawers effectively and reconcile daily transactions. Basic qualifications Strong communication skills to connect with customers and team members effectively. Experience in cashiering or retail sales is preferred but not required; we provide training! Preferred qualifications Bilingual abilities to assist a diverse customer base are highly valued. Familiarity with retail math concepts to ensure accurate transaction processing. Previous experience in merchandising or stocking to maintain store presentation standards.
