POSITION SUMMARY

Lead Retail Consultant/Cashiers are responsible for delivering WOW Every Customer Every Time by proactively engaging customers, identifying their project needs, and providing the right products, solutions, and expertise to ensure customer success. In addition to Retail Consultant/Cashier responsibilities, this role supports the store management team by providing day-to-day leadership, ensuring smooth front-end operations, and helping train and coach team members to consistently meet our service standards while upholding Moore Lumber & Hardware's Vision, Mission, and Values . Required Knowledge Skills and Abilities Must be at least 18 years of age. Able to communicate professionally with customers and team members. Cashier experience in a similar position or proficiency in a similar task Ability to use a cash register (point of sale or POS system), computer, telephone, and other equipment as needed. Skilled at providing prompt, friendly and attentive customer service. Strong organizational skills with a passion for details. Willing to learn all areas of the facilities and help cross train others. Proven track record of being a team player. Knowledge and experience of various departments is strongly desired. A continuous pattern of regular and prompt attendance is required. Availability must be flexible including evenings, weekends, and holidays. Aptitude for industry technology and software. Physical Requirements The minimum physical requirements for this position include: Ability to stand for an extended period of time, walk, reach, and bend to perform job duties. Move and handle merchandise up to 50 pounds, and fixtures throughout the store, which entails lifting and perform all functions as set forth. Ability to work on elevated platforms and ladders, and at heights near open spaces where the risk of falling may be present.
