Job Overview We are seeking a motivated and customer-oriented Cashier/Stocker to join our retail team. In this dual role, you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service at the cash register while also ensuring that our shelves are well-stocked and organized. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills and a passion for sales, with the ability to upsell products effectively. Responsibilities Operate the cash register efficiently, handling cash transactions and providing accurate change. Engage with customers to provide exceptional service, addressing inquiries and assisting with product selection. Promote sales through upselling techniques, enhancing customer experience and increasing store revenue. Stock shelves and maintain inventory levels, ensuring products are displayed attractively and are easily accessible to customers. Assist in supervising store operations during shifts, ensuring adherence to company policies and procedures. Collaborate with team members to maintain a clean and organized store environment. Communicate effectively with customers and staff, fostering a positive shopping experience. Requirements Previous experience in retail sales or as a cashier is preferred but not mandatory. Must Have Lottery Experience. Ability To Answer Phone Calls For Deli Orders. Able to Lift 50 lbs. Strong communication skills, with the ability to engage customers in conversation. candidates are encouraged to apply, as this will enhance customer interactions. Proficiency in cash handling and operating a cash register is desirable. Ability to stock merchandise efficiently while maintaining attention to detail. A proactive attitude towards upselling products and promoting store specials. Strong organizational skills with the capability to supervise tasks effectively when needed.
