Part-Time Wine & Liquor Store Cashier

We are seeking a dependable and customer-focused Part-Time Cashier to join our team in Monroe, CT. The ideal candidate has prior liquor store or retail experience, strong customer service skills, and the flexibility to work a rotating schedule that includes weekdays, evenings, and most weekends. This is a part-time position, with hours varying based on store needs. Some holidays are required. This role is key to creating a positive and welcoming shopping experience for our customers. The successful candidate will build guest confidence and loyalty through friendly, knowledgeable, and efficient service while supporting daily store operations. This position offers growth potential for an energetic, motivated individual. Job Requirements & Responsibilities Previous liquor store retail experience preferred Strong customer service and communication skills, both in person and over the phone Ability to accurately handle cash and process payments, including cash, credit, debit, and gift cards Must be at least 18 years of age, as required by the State of Connecticut Ability to stand for extended periods and remain on your feet throughout the shift Ability to lift and move up to 50 lbs as needed Applicants are expected to work on the days leading to all major Holidays and in some instances the day of. Major holidays include, but are not limited to Christmas, Thanksgiving, New Years, Memorial Day, Labor Day, 4th of July.
