The ideal candidate will have a passion for animals, customer service, and sales, with the ability to handle cash transactions efficiently. Weekdays and weekend availability required Duties

• Operate cash register and handle cash transactions accurately
• Provide exceptional customer service by assisting shoppers with inquiries and purchases
• Perform product demonstrations to showcase features and benefits
• Upsell products to enhance customer experience
• Supervise and maintain cleanliness of the checkout area
• Process returns and exchanges in accordance with company policies
• Utilize Point of Sale (POS) system for sales transactions
• Feed, water, and clean up after the store animals (Hamsters, Guinea Pigs, Small Reptiles, Fish) Qualifications
• Proficiency in cash handling and basic math skills
• Prior experience in retail sales or cashiering is preferred
• Bilingual proficiency is a plus
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage with diverse customers
• Familiarity with product demonstrations and upselling techniques
• Able to lift up to 40 lbs
