Job Description
Overview Join our dynamic team as a Gas Station Attendant and Cashier, where you'll be the friendly face customers rely on for a smooth and enjoyable experience. In this energetic role, you'll handle daily retail operations, assist customers with their needs, and ensure the station runs efficiently. Your positive attitude and proactive approach will help create a welcoming environment for all visitors while maintaining high standards of safety and service. Duties Greet customers warmly and provide exceptional customer service throughout their visit Operate the cash register using POS (Point of Sale) systems to process transactions accurately and efficiently Manage cash handling procedures, including balancing registers at shift end Upsell products and services to enhance customer experience and increase sales opportunities Stock shelves, merchandise displays, and organize products to ensure an attractive store environment Conduct product demos when applicable, highlighting features and benefits to customers Maintain cleanliness of the station, including fueling areas, store aisles, and checkout counters Assist with inventory management by stocking supplies and monitoring product levels Provide information about store promotions, loyalty programs, or fuel discounts Demonstrate effective communication skills, including phone etiquette when taking orders or answering inquiries Requirements Previous retail sales or cashiering experience preferred; experience with POS systems is a plus Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally in person and over the phone Bilingual abilities are highly valued to serve diverse customer needs effectively Basic math skills for handling cash transactions and retail math calculations Supervising experience is advantageous for team support roles or leadership opportunities Knowledge of grocery store operations or familiarity with merchandising practices is beneficial Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks such as stocking shelves or cleaning Excellent communication skills, including phone etiquette and active listening skills A positive attitude with a proactive approach to upselling and product promotion Join us in creating a vibrant environment where customer satisfaction is our top priority!
