Job Summary:

As a Cashier at Angelo's Pizzeria, you are the face of the operation. You set the tone for the guest experience from the moment someone walks up. This role is about more than just ringing orders—you'll control the flow of service, communicate clearly with the kitchen, and keep things moving with speed and accuracy. If you're personable, quick-thinking, and thrive in a high-volume environment, you'll do well here.

Key Responsibilities:

Greet guests in a friendly, confident, and efficient manner Accurately take and input orders into the POS system Clearly communicate orders and modifications to the kitchen team Answer menu questions and guide guests when needed Handle cash and card transactions with accuracy and accountability Manage order flow and ensure timely, organized handoff to guests Keep the counter area clean, stocked, and organized at all times Assist with light prep, restocking, and support tasks as needed Follow all food safety and cleanliness standards, including DECO Food Hall guidelines

Qualifications:

Previous cashier or front-of-house experience preferred Strong communication and people skills Ability to stay composed and efficient during busy service Detail-oriented and organized Reliable, punctual, and team-focused Comfortable using POS systems and handling payments Availability for nights, weekends, and holidays
