This role involves providing excellent customer service, managing transactions accurately, and maintaining well-stocked shelves. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, basic math proficiency, and experience in retail sales. Bilingual abilities and supervisory experience are a plus, as well as familiarity with store operations and POS systems. This position offers an opportunity to develop retail skills in a dynamic environment focused on customer satisfaction. You will have at least two whole weekends off on your monthly schedule, Profit company bonus, and you will be assigned always at least 40 hours weekly. Duties Stock shelves, organize merchandise, and ensure products are properly displayed Operate POS systems to process customer transactions quickly and accurately Greet customers warmly and provide exceptional customer service Handle cash, credit, and other payment methods with accuracy and professionalism Conduct product demos when applicable to promote sales and assist customers in making selections Assist with merchandising efforts to maintain an attractive store layout Upsell products to enhance sales opportunities Maintain cleanliness and organization of the checkout area and stockroom Supervise or assist other team members as needed, especially during busy periods Ensure compliance with store policies and safety procedures Requirements Previous experience with POS systems, cashiering, or retail sales preferred Strong communication skills, including phone etiquette and customer interaction Ability to perform basic math and retail math accurately for transactions and inventory counts Experience in stocking, merchandising, or supervising in a grocery or retail setting is desirable Bilingual abilities are required to serve diverse customer needs Excellent customer service skills with a friendly attitude Ability to handle cash responsibly and perform cash handling duties accurately Knowledge of product demos and upselling techniques is advantageous Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in merchandising and stock management Prior experience in store environments is beneficial but not required
