Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and friendly Cashier to join our retail team! As a Cashier, you will manage cash handling, operate POS (Point of Sale) systems, and assist customers with their purchases, all while maintaining a lively and professional environment. Responsibilities Greet customers warmly and assist them with their purchases using POS systems Process transactions accurately, including cash, credit/debit cards, and mobile payments Provide product demos and upsell items to enhance customer satisfaction and sales Maintain cleanliness and organization of the checkout area and merchandising displays Stock shelves, organize merchandise, and ensure products are properly labeled and stocked Demonstrate excellent phone etiquette when assisting customers over the phone or via online inquiries Support sales goals through effective communication skills, product knowledge, and friendly service Experience Previous cashiering experience in a retail or grocery store environment is preferred but not required Familiarity with POS systems and cash handling procedures is advantageous Bilingual abilities are a plus to serve diverse customer needs effectively Strong communication skills with an emphasis on friendly customer interactions Basic math skills for handling transactions accurately and efficiently Supervising experience or leadership roles in retail settings are beneficial for growth opportunities Knowledge of merchandising, stocking, retail sales, and grocery store operations will help you succeed Join us to be part of a vibrant team dedicated to delivering outstanding service!
