Overview Join our dynamic retail team as a Front End Cashier, where your energy and enthusiasm will create a welcoming shopping experience for every customer. Duties Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system efficiently to process sales, returns, and exchanges accurately Greet customers warmly, providing excellent customer service through clear communication and friendly phone etiquette Handle cash, credit/debit card transactions, and other payment methods with precision and integrity Assist customers with product demos, upselling items, and answering questions about store merchandise Maintain clean and organized checkout areas, restocking supplies and merchandising products as needed Support stocking and inventory tasks to ensure shelves are well-stocked and visually appealing Provide product information, promote special offers, and suggest additional purchases to enhance the shopping experience Requirements Previous cashiering experience in a retail or grocery store setting is preferred but not required; training will be provided Strong communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with diverse customers and team members Basic math skills for handling cash transactions accurately and calculating totals or discounts Bilingual abilities are a plus to serve our diverse customer base better Experience with POS systems, merchandising, stocking, and retail sales is highly desirable Demonstrated supervising experience or leadership qualities are advantageous for growth opportunities Ability to stand for extended periods, lift moderate loads, and perform physical tasks related to stocking and merchandising Bring your enthusiasm and dedication to our team!
