Duties Greet customers warmly and provide friendly, professional assistance throughout their shopping experience Operate the POS (Point of Sale) system accurately to process sales, returns, and exchanges Handle cash, credit/debit card transactions, and perform cash handling with precision and integrity Upsell products by suggesting relevant items during checkout to enhance customer satisfaction and increase sales Conduct product demos when applicable, showcasing new or featured items to customers Maintain merchandising standards by stocking shelves, organizing displays, and ensuring products are properly labeled Assist with inventory management through stocking and merchandising activities to keep the sales floor appealing and well-organized Skills Proficiency with POS systems and cash handling procedures Prior supervising experience is a plus for leadership opportunities within the team Ability to perform retail math accurately for transactions and inventory counts Strong communication skills, including bilingual abilities to serve diverse customers effectively Excellent phone etiquette for handling inquiries professionally over the phone Experience in grocery store environments or retail sales is highly desirable Knowledge of merchandising, stocking techniques, and product demos enhances customer engagement Customer service orientation with a friendly attitude and proactive problem-solving skills This role is perfect for motivated individuals eager to thrive in a bustling retail setting.
